KEY UDF LEADER ASKS KOSTOV`S RESIGNATION

Key UDF leader and former chief of the foreign policy parliamentary commission Assen Agov demanded resignation of the UDF leader Ivan Kostov. The former chief of the Parliamentary foreign policy committee has made his appeal from private owned national wide Darik Radio. I expect Mr. Ivan Kostov to hand in his resignation, It is his personal choice and dignified attitude, Agov said. To him, it would be better if the Premier himself pointed at who of his deputies should become act as chairman of UDF. A probable follower-up will be Nadezhda Mihaylova, he added. Meanwhile the regional UDF organization from Rouse took decision for coalition rule with the NMS II even if `it costs the head of Ivan Kostov`. The National Council sitting of the democrats is scheduled for Tuesday when the election returns will be discussed. So far Kostov has not uttered a word if he will resign from the chairman`s office.
