DAFOVSKA SECOND AT WORLD CUP BIATHLON RACE IN NORWAY

1998 Olympic champion, Bulgaria's Ekaterina Dafovska finished second after shooting clean in at the 7.5-kilometer World Cup race at Holmenkollen, Norway. Germany's Katrin Apel missed one out of 10 targets but nevertheless claimed her third consecutive victory of the season in Holmenkollen. Apel finished ahead of Bulgaria's Dafovska and Russia's Ishmouratova in the 7.5km sprint. Forsberg, leader of the World Cup, placed fourth, 19 seconds outside Apel's time. Bulgaria's Nikoultchina finished seventh.
