The Bulgarian opera singer Alexandrina Pendachinska attracted the attention of the media in the United States with her performance in "Don Giovanni" at the New York City Opera. “Go especially for the two soprano roles of Donna Anna and Donna Elvira. Alexandrina Pendachanska and Amy Burton are both splendid, “ The New York Times wrote. In another article New York Times author Bernard Holland wrote:”The Donnas Anna and Elvira offered both heat and light, with Alexandrina Pendatchanska having perhaps the richer soprano of the two, but Amy Burton's Elvira was her equal in intensity and musical clarity.” Other editions published portraits of the Bulgarian opera star, explaining that “she was born in the country of the roses and had been a student of the best Turandot of the twentieth century Gena Dimitrova.” Twelve years ago Pendachanska attracted the attention of the opera critics with her role as Violeta in Traviata. Since then, Pendachanska has been singing in world famous operas all over the world. The opera star is in the United States with her husband Nayo Titsin and her daughter. This summer she will participate in the biggest opera fest in the United StatesSanta Fe Opera Festival.
