A total of 57 Bulgarian seventh grade school students took part in the final stage competition for solving tests on Bulgarian language and literature on Saturday.

On the final exam only those who scored over 93 out of 100 points at the regional competitions. None of the students managed to get 100 out of 100 on Saturday. Still there were records scored.

Iva Todorova from Sofia got 99 out of 100 points and did the test for the record time of only 20 minutes and 34 seconds. Dessislava Daskalova also got 99 points, but her time was 37 minutes and 48 seconds. The third place was again won by a girl, this time it was Dessislava Marinska from Plovdiv.

The three girls received awards for their excellent scores by Bulgaria's Education Minister Daniel Valchev himself. "The girls did exellent job, having in mind that the number of questions was bigger, and the questions themselves were very difficult," he said after the end of the competition.
