On the occasion of Bulgaria's national holiday, celebrated on March 3, Corporate Trade Bank is wrapping up its head office downtown Sofia with Bulgaria's flag.
The building will be wrapped with 13 white, green and red cloths, each of them having dimensions of six to twenty meters. The total area of the giant flag will be 1,560 square meters.
Its upper part will be attached to the building's gutter and the bottom one - to the sidewalk.
Bulgaria's tricolour has been made of porous material, which is waterproof but let light and air through.
Cards, showing interesting facts about Bulgarians' achievements, will be handed in front of the wrapped building on the national holiday.
The initiative is part of the campaign "Save Bulgarianness - Be an European!", organized by the Youth Department for European Integration and held under the patronage of the President Georgi Parvanov.
