Angelina Jolie is planning to add another international member to her family, this time a Vietnamese boy.
Jolie has applied to adopt the child from an orphanage she visited last Thanksgiving, a government official confirmed Friday.
The boy, said to be 3-4 years old, will be the third adopted child in the fast-growing Jolie-Pitt family, which also includes the Hollywood couple's 9-month-old biological daughter, Shiloh.
Jolie filed adoption forms with the International Adoption Department under Vietnam's Ministry of Justice on Thursday, according to Vu Duc Long, director of the department.
The name of her partner Brad Pitt is not on the application, according to Long.
If the adoption is approved, the boy will be joining an international family of 5-year-old Maddox, born in Cambodia; Zahara, age 2, from Ethiopia, as well as baby Shiloh, who was born in Namibia last May.
