WHAT NEXT: NEW GOVERNMENT CLEAR AFTER JULY 17

According to the law the new Bulgarian parliament must gathered not later than July 17, exactly one month after the general elections. It will happen only after the election committee announces officially the names of the future members of parliament by their names. Then the president must deliver to the largest parliamentary group, now it will be the one form the National movement Simeon II, the mandate to form a government. Within 7 days the leader of the party must present to the parliament the proposed members of the new government. If it fails – the second largest group, presented in the parliament takes the responsibility to form a government. It might happen that president also can appoint a prime minister if no party present in the parliament manage to do this. The outgoing government of the PM Ivan Kostov also must put its resignation in front of the newly elected parliament.
