Less than a day after tremors rocked Afghanistan, a moderate intensity earthquake hit Pakistan on Monday. An official at the Seismic Centre in the northwestern city of eshawar says there have been no reports of deaths, injuries or damage. Measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale, Baluchistan province is thought to have been the epicentre of the quake. Since Sunday 55 people have been feared killed and a further 100 missing in two remote northern villages after the quake in Afghanistan, which struck on Sunday afternoon, shaking a area stretching from Tajikistan to India.
