A piece, attributed to the young Mozart will be performed for the first time ever in his native town of Salzburg on Friday.

Previously unknown, the piece was discovered by the Austrian archive in a book they recently acquired. It most likely dates from before 1769, when Mozart was merely thirteen years old.

Entitled "Allegro di Wolffgango Mozart", the notes were most likely written down by someone close to the composer's family.
