OTE Telecoms is expected to participate for a second time in the tender for the acquisition of Bulgarian Telecommunicaiton Company, Greek IMERISIA reported. Income from start-up mobile telephony operations in Bulgaria and Macedonia would not be enough to offset slower growth at CosmOTE, the group's mobile subsidiary, as Greece's mobile penetration rate approaches 75 %, Financial Times announced. The Cabinet approved BTC sell-off plan February 28.
