Twenty-two people were crushed to death when a building collapsed in the Egyptian city of Damietta. The bodies were retrieved from the rubble of the four-storey building on Tuesday. Another 25 people were injured, officials said. Many of the dead and injured were brides and attendants preparing for weddings at a beauty salon in the building, family members and witnesses said. Funerals were due to be held later on Tuesday in Damietta, 105 miles north of Cairo.
