NASA have decided to build a moon camp on one of the satellite's poles.

Getting to the moon is no longer a challenge, but staying there surely is and the US space agency have decided to conquer that peak too, after managing the first moon landing in 1969.

Unveiling the agency's bold plan for a return to the moon, NASA said it will establish an international base camp on one of the moon's poles, permanently staffing it by 2024, four years after astronauts land there.

To get to the satellite, NASA will use two vehicles - the Orion exploration vehicle and an attached all-purpose lunar lander that could touch down anywhere. Exploration chief Scott Horowitz has explained, adding that the second vehicle would be used to set up a base camp.

NASA will be looking for foreign partners on this grand project, hoping to split the costs with other nations.
