Bulgarian artist Ivan Moudov grabbed the grand prize for youngest European designer at the 7th International Design Contest Trieste Contemporanea in Italy.
His talent was highly appraised thanks to the project he presented called "Musiz" which the experts described as "explosive".
Despite he is so young Moudov belongs to the generation of artists that adopts an uncompromising attitude to developing art by using post-conceptual tendencies. Each work of the artist displays objects or situations in which symbolic and metaphoric meaning is maximally accentuated, the critics in Trieste said.
The International Design Contest Trieste Contemporanea has existed since 1995. This year it was participated by 21 countries from Central and Esatern Europe.
Young artist Moudov will open his first exhibition in Italy on December 9.
