GLOBAL GROUP INTERNATIONAL TO INVEST BGN 8 M IN A PLANT FOR METALS

Riste Gusterov, a Macedonian, living in the United States announced that will invest BGN 8 M in a plant for finishing metal products in Bulgaria’s town Beloslav, the Bulgarian News Agency announced. Riste Gusterov is making the investment through his company Global Group International. The semi-finished articles will be imported from Ukraine and Russia and after finishing in the Beloslav plant will be exported to the European and the US markets, the CEO of the plant Georgi Strigulev said after a meeting with Beloslav Mayor Emil Dichev. The plant will be ready within five years. It will have three production lines with a total annual capacity of 100,000 t: one for hot and cold rolling, one for finishing zinc-plated rolls and one for reinforcing bars. The plant will have its own storage facilities. 150 jobs will be opened. The Macedonian investor has already built a similar plant in Poland. He is also planning an investment in a medical centre in the Black Sea city of Varna and sports facilities for pre-Olympic preparation in Sofia.
