Georgi Popov, Executive Director of Bulgartabac Holding, considers to approach the Prosecutor’s Office on the working draft contract, made public by former Deputy Economy Minister Lyubka Kachakova. This transpired at a press conference on the controversial draft contract published by Bulgarian on-line news provider Mediapool.bg. Popov has not allowed under any circumstances the above mentioned draft contract to be taken out of Bulgartabac Holding building. At a news conference he announced that the draft contract published in the media exists in two copies. In his words they are confidential and are owned by Bulgartabac Holding. In the capacity of Chairman of the Board of Directors Lyubka Kachakova has had access to both of them. Georgi Popov said he takes the opportunity to refer the matter of theft and disclosing confidential information to the Prosecutor’s Office, even though this is a working project draft.
