An agreement on cooperation in the production of trolleys and roadbeds in the region was reached in the third day of the second economic forum on trans-border cooperation among Sofia, Skopje and Nis. At the next meeting of the three mayors in Skopje in the autumn a Euro region will be set up, which will enjoy a privileged status before the European Union. It will aim to secure free movement of goods and people and to draw projects in the infrastructure and environment protection sectors. The forum started on March 20 and will last till March 23 in the International Exhibition Center “Bulgarreklama.” It is part of a long-term program of the three city mayors for enhancing cooperation.
