I am so pleased to have received the Sofia Weekly in my email. After living and working in Sofia in previous years and then moving to another country in the Balkans, I have missed hearing the news about what is happening in what I now consider my adopted hometown in Europe.

Having been involved in assisting your country prepare for and then be integrated into NATO, I feel a sense of belonging and pride in the political, economic and military progress of Bulgaria. I still have so many Bulgarian friends who write me frequently, but I seldom get the news from them.

Having relied on the daily Novinite online news while a guest of your government for 4 years, I miss having a reliable and objective source for news of the Balkans and in particular news of Bulgaria. So your introduction of a new online service is a welcome one.
