TRANSPORT MINISTER: I AM NOT WORRIED ABOUT MY POSITION

“I am not worried about my position but still this is only my personal opinion” Transport Minister Plamen Petrov declared after the meeting of the floor leaders of the Simeon II National Movement and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms. He denied to comment on the dismissals of the three deputy ministers. On February 18, Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg signed orders for dismissal of Deputy Economy Minister Lyubka Kachakova, Deputy Finance Minister Atanas Katsarchev and Deputy Culture Minister Gancho Karabadzhakov. According to Petrov:” No one puts pressure on me,” minister Petrov responded to a question whether his dismissal had been commented in the Cabinet. He explained that he was invited at the meeting of the floor leaders fro a discussion of the telephone prices and the privatisation of the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company.
