ECONOMY MINISTER: KACHAKOVA WAS NOT LOYAL AND COULD NOT WORK IN A TEAM

Deputy Economy Minister Lyubka Kachakova has been dismissed after Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Nikolay Vassilev proposed that. “I expect from my team – professionalism, devotion, honesty and loayalty,“ the minister pointed out. He blamed Kachakova in lack of loyalty and inability to work in a team. "At some point I felt that I cannot rely on her," the economy minister said. According to Vassilev, he made proposal for her dismissal in the beginning of January. “I have nothing against Lyubka Kachakova, “Vassilev pointed out. “She is an energetic person and works well,” he added. Vassilev explained that Kachakova’s dismissal had nothing to with Bulgartabac and the fact that she had been dismissed did not mean that she should leave the State Savings Bank Supervisory Board and the Bulgartabac Board of Directors. “Kachakova cannot go back to Parliament as a member of Parliament – the Constitution does not allow that. I am sorry that a good MP will be lost like that,” Vassilev concluded. Lyubka Kachakova told radio Net said that she knows about her dismissal and commented that neither the prime minister nor the economy minister stood behind the dismissal.
