The warm weather that swept Bulgaria at the beginning of the week will reach its peak on Thursday, October 5, turning it into the hottest day of this year's autumn.
Temperatures are forecast to vary between 27C and 32C.
Record-high temperatures have been recorded on October 5 in the towns of Pleven, Plovdiv and Sofia, where the mercury zoomed up to 32,6C, 30,8C and 30,5C respectively.
Temperatures will come off the boil as of Friday, when spells of cold air will cool down the country.
