Zimbabwe is facing the threat of sanctions as the European Union meets to discuss President Robert Mugabe's decision to expel the head of a mission to observe next month's election. Swedish diplomat Pierre Schori had his visa revoked by Zimbabwe at the weekend after he was told he had shown "political arrogance." Asked, later, whether there was any chance of free and fair elections in Zimbabwe on March 9-10, he told Britain's Channel 4 television news: "Of course it doesn't look bright."
