Starting from April 1st, the monopoly of Bulstrad on automobile insurance for travelling abroad, called Green Card, will officially be terminated. The National Bureau Green Card will start work and will unite ten insurance companies on April 1st. The bureau will establish a guarantee fund, which will pay the damages in case the company that had sold the insurance goes bankrupt. So far the candidates for the National Bureau Green Card are: Alianz Bulgaria, Bulstrad, State Insurance Company DZI, Bulgarian Estates, Bul Ins, Jupiter, Vitosha, Orel, Hanover Coop. Euro Ins.
