A recording of the voices of the two of the medics, charged with intentionally infecting Libyan children with HIV was made by an official from Bulgaria’s Embassy in Libya. The recording was played on the Bulgarian national radio. It was made in the house where the medics have recently been moved to.

“Dear Marian, dear mum and dad, my dear brother, after the moving both I and Chrisi feel much better both physically and emotionally,” Dr. Zdravko Georgiev says in his address to his relatives. “I cannot find words to express my gratitude to Solomon Passy, foundation “Qaddafi” and all the rest who help in this difficult moment. I hug you. I kiss you. I love you. Zdravko.”

“Dear children, Emil, hello,“ Valya Chervenyashka says. “Now finally, when we are at such a much better place I can be much calmer that my worries have been in vain. I hope that you also feel calmer. Please, excuse me for all the worries, I think that everything is for good. Please give my personal gratitude to minister Passy, the prime minister, the president and most of all I am so grateful to the people from the Libyan side who moved us and take care of us. I kiss you. I love you. Valya. I am very excited. Excuse me.”
