A person can be issued a license for only one gun, the Cabinet decided, giving up its idea to buy up extra firearms held by the population as a way to curb crime rate. Under the amendments each owner of personal weapon has to be issued two licenses. Registers with the Interior Ministry are to be set up, which will register the number and types of firearms.
