Memorandum of Understanding between Bulgaria, Greece and Cyprus on the joint use of a satellite for radio and TV broadcasting was approved by the Cabinet February 14. According to the Memorandum, the administrations of the three states will not take part in the commercial exploitation of the resource but will give a licence to telecommunications operator, which will be responsible for the realization of the project and for starting the satellite.
