Foreign Minister Passy talked over the phone with the Bulgarian medics in Libya again, Passy informed the journalists who accompany him during his visit to Great Britain. Petko Dimitrov, special envoy of the foreign minister to Libya has been having a meeting with the medics at that time and the conversation took place via his mobile phone. According to Passy the Bulgarians felt better. He added that Petko Dimitrov had a meeting with Seif al-Islam, chairman of the “Qaddafi” foundation and son of Lybia's leader. Dimitrov presented a special letter of gratitude on behalf of Bulgaria’s foreign minister to al-Islam. The Foreign Minister pointed out that all that have been achieved so far is a result from the intervention of the foundation.On February 4th, the six Bulgarian medics, charged with intentionally infecting Libyan children with HIV, have been accommodated in a house under guard. The next hearing on the case will take place on February 17.
