Two Bulgarians raped 22-year-old university student from the Black Sea coastal city of Varna, South-eastern Bulgaria late on Monday, police said.
The criminals, jobless R.I. (27) and A.D. (20) from nearby Aksakovo, fooled the girl they would help her find an apartment to rent. They hired a cab and promised to show her the flat, but eventually took her to an abandoned house in the village Vulchi Dol and consequently took advantage of the girl.
Half an hour later they took the girl to Aksakovo and R.I., who knew the young woman, raped her again.
Both men were arrested after a physician examined the victim.
Police has launched investigation into the incident.
This is the fourth reported rape case for the last two weeks. A sixteen-year-old girl from the town of Lom, South-western Bulgaria, approached the police last week, saying she was raped. Earlier in the week a man saved a young woman from the traumatic experience in Sofia and police busted rapist in the city of Plovdiv.
