Pimping Bulgarian Women Busted in Belgium

Crime | July 29, 2006, Saturday // 00:00

Police in Belgium have apprehended four Bulgarian women who were in charge of a prostitution and women-trafficking gang, local media reported.

A total of six people were apprehended for trafficking Eastern European women, who were mainly from Bulgaria, and forcing them to prostitute.

Police first busted a father and his daughter, who owned the two bars, where all the illegally residing prostitutes appeared at some point. The four Bulgarian women were arrested later. They were in charge of the sex-slaves network and helped manage the bars, reports say.

Several Bulgarian prostitutes were also caught at the scene, and will be extradited back to their homeland.
