Dear Editor-in-Chief

For about two weeks now, people in different parts of the world seem quite perplexed, wonder-struck and astounded for what is going on in the Lebanon. What is really occurring there is a horrendous massacre perpetrated by Israeli troops against innocent civilians. Nothing but sheer devastation is observable now--a testimony of Israel's savagery! Yet, many questions are raised about the U.S. and other European countries' attitudes towards the oppression, aggression and genocide against the Lebanese people and the Palestinians.

Mass media in the West therefore need to take a fair stand and shed light on the conflict in the Middle East away from prejudice and double standards. Never let more time passes without taking steps towards rectifying what has been practised before. Come nearer to witness how ferocious, criminal and hardhearted Israelis are!
