Three men from the Black Sea coast of Varna were arrested by Bulgarian police facing charges of pimping young girls.

The three - aged between 30 and 38 - have organised a criminal ring trafficking for Germany young girls, who were forced to prostitute.

The group has operated for about a year, said Commissar Petar Iliev, chief of border police.

The victims of this traffic were found to be some 14, most of them lured with paid ads in newspapers, Iliev explained. All of them came from Varna and the region near it.

The profits from prostitution were invested in real estate purchase and construction on the Black Sea and second-hand cars import, the anti-crime fighters said.
