BULGARIA TO EXPORT ELECTRICITY TO THE REGION

Kosovo starts to import electricity from Bulgaria, National Electric Company (NEC) announced. The offer encompasses the period June 25-July 9 and from July to September. NEC refused to announce the export price to Kosovo. The expectations are price to be close to the export price to Turkey-$0,35 per kilowatt/hour. Bulgaria has also contracts for electricity supply with Macedonia and Serbia. As of today Bulgaria starts exporting 250 megawatts of electricity to Greece.
