Police in Istanbul have nabbed one million captagon pills that were smuggled in Turkey through Bulgaria.

The synthetic drug was stashed in a secret compartment of an eighteen-wheeler, headed for Syria and the Middle East. Police were tipped off on the drugs' whereabouts.

The police started working on the case six months ago by listening in on suspects' phone conversations. A total of 15 people were arrested in connection with the illegal drug channel. One of them is Bulgarian, and another ten are all members of the same family. Police is currently looking for 3 more people.
