Two Seized over Kidnapping Bulgarian Businessman's Son

Police arrested two men from Sofia after releasing a teenager kidnapped by the criminals a week ago.

The 19-year-old man, who is son of a businessman from Gabrovo, central Bulgaria, was abducted June 4 and forced to drink large amounts of alcohol to drug him. He was then transported to an auto service in Sofia

Hours later the kidnappers phone called the father of the victim claiming a ransom of BGN 25,000.

Police launched a rescue operation and managed to locate the criminals and their victim.

After they were seized and the boy freed, the businessman identified the two as the same men who had kidnapped himself not long ago, police said.
