Wesley Snipes: How Can You Not Like Bulgarian Women?

US action star Wesley Snipes is shooting his latest movie in Sofia - Nu Image Bulgaria's project "The Shooter." Snipe has dozens of movies behind his back, with partners like Danny Glover, Jennifer Lopez, Robert De Niro and Woody Harrelson.
During his first interaction with Bulgarian media, Snipes talked to Sofia News Agency Editor Petya Sabinova. Questions from other media are also included in the interview.
Q: What photos are you taking?
A: Pictures of people's faces and sounds and images from Bulgaria.
Q: Are you planning on making an exhibition?
A: I don't know, maybe in my book, in the archives one of these days. I take pictures of all the people that I see from all the movies I do around the world. I look for similarities... See if I find my cousin or maybe my twin.
Q: This is your second time in Bulgaria, how do you feel here?
A: I feel very good, I like it. The crew is great, the people are very friendly, the food is delicious and so far, I hope the movie will be good too.
Q: Is there anything that you don't like in Bulgaria?
A: I haven't found it yet. Maybe there is, I'm quite sure there is something.
Q: Have you had a chance to explore the country?
A: I've seen the country maybe from about 10,000 feet from a plane and that's about it.
Q: And how about Sofia?
A: I've been to a couple of restaurants that were very nice. If that represents the country than the country's beautiful.
Q: Can you name something you ate here?
A: What, in Bulgarian? No, no but it was a Bulgarian lamb stew with rice and vegetables... magnifique.
Q: And any preferences in drinks?
A: I had that one Bulgarian drink that you put a little water in and it clouds up, Mastika. I had that and then everything else after that I don't remember.
Q: What souvenirs are you going to buy from Bulgaria?
A: I don't know, maybe I'll find a wife, how about that?
Q: Are you looking for a new wife?
A: Always, the more wives the better...Nah, you know I'm joking.
Q: Why, don't you like Bulgarian women?
A: Of course I do. How can you not like Bulgarian women, I'd be crazy to say I don't like Bulgarian women. Do Bulgarian women like me, that's the question
Q: How do you feel about theatre?
A: Theatre is my heart; it's where I come from. I've trained since I was twelve years old to be in theater. But I'm stuck in movies for the moment.
Q: How did you decide to take up acting?
A: I started out as a dancer, I was very interested in music. I can sing and I can dance. But you're gonna have to wait until the demo comes out. Puff Daddy's gonna do the remix. But seriously, that's how I started out.
Q: Tell me something about martial arts?
A: I love martial arts. I play Shaolin, Chinese Kung-Fu, Tae Kwon Do, of course. Those are the areas I like the most.
