A second deadline (1135 GMT) has passed for the demands of the kidnappers of US journalist, Daniel Pearl, to be met. Pakistani police said on Friday they were no closer to finding Mr Pearl, who faces the threat of death from his abductors. FBI agents are reported to have questioned a key suspect in the case, Mubarak Ali Shah Gilani, an Islamic leader who heads a small militant group, Jamaat ul-Fuqra.
