Investigators have recovered the body of a Bulgarian game park chief, who had gone missing, indicating that the man was apparently murdered.

Alexander Makedonski's remains were buried near the site where police had earlier found his torched truck.

Makedosnki, 34, went missing a day after local authorities published a report about poaching in the Seslav state-run park, headed by the late man.

His body has been taken for autopsy to determine what caused the death, media said Sunday.
