Italian Attacked in Bulgaria

An Italian citizen has been injured in an assault in the southern city of Stara Zagora, the local police department announced.

The 48-year-old Italian works in Bulgaria. The assault took place 5 am Friday morning when the man was attacked in front of his residential block in Stara Zagora.

He was attacked by two unknown assaulters, but was not robbed. The man suffered head injuries. He was immediately rushed into the Stara Zagora hospital. His life is not in danger. Police is investigating the case.
