Pazardzhik Prosecutor's Office is to prolong by another two months the investigation into the brutal murder of two sisters.

Regional Prosecutor Ivan Daskalov told in an interview for Darik radio that the investigation would be prolonged as of May 31. The trial is still against an unknown assaulter and there is no suspect for the vicious act.

The bodies of the teenage sisters Kristina, 15, and 18-year-old Rositsa were discovered in late January. One of the victims was naked, and the other one had only a skirt on, media reports said back then.

It emerged that the girls were killed with stones, their faces being disfigured by the brutal hits.
