Swede Hit by Car in Bulgarian Resort

A Swedish man aged 46 was hit by a car in Bulgaria's Sunny Beach, media said Thursday.

The driver fled the site without trying to help the victim, according to reports.

Sweden's tourist suffered a fracture of the collar bone and leg bruises. He was treated at hospital and then released, local media say.

The holidaymaker arrived at Bulgaria's seaside on May 19 as part of a Swedish tourism group.

Police there are still working to identify the hit-and-run driver.
