ECOLOGICAL LOAN GRANTED TO RAFINENRY

Lukoil-Neftochim will receive the first tranche of the ecological loan from the World Bank till end-August, CEO of Burgas-based refinery, Vladimir Rakitsky, said. The loan of EUR 40 M is granted for elimination of 450,000 tons of wastes that have been accumulated before the privatization of the complex. Lukoil - Neftochim envisages to invest $20 M in the modernization of the Catalytic Reforming - 1 equipment. This is the main manufacturer of high-octane component for automobile benzenes. The company already exports low-octane gasoline to the United States.
