TURKEY ENTIRELY SUPPORTS BULGARIA’S NATO ENTRY

At the NATO summit in Prague, Turkey will do its best Bulgaria to join NATO soon, Turkish Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit said after meeting Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg. Ecevit arrived on a two-day official visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of his Bulgarian counterpart on January 30. Bulgaria’s Prime Minister said that Turkish businessmen are welcome to invest in Bulgaria.The Gorna Arda issue will be solved in a way that will be beneficial for both Turkey and Bulgaria, Ecevit told journalists after the meeting. Later during the day, Ecevit met with Bulgaria’s President Parvanov, the two discussed the future of the economic relations between Bulgaria and Turkey. Both officials agreed that there are numerous business opportunities that can be used to the best advantage.
