MOBIKOM NEGOTIATIONS STOPPED

Cable & Wireless stopped the negations of selling its 49 per cent shares in Mobikom, the Bulgarian mobile NMT provider to Bulgarian Telecommunications Company. Mobikom was the first ever Bulgarian mobile provider launched in 1993. The main reason the negotiations to stop is the price, John Munnery, Mobikom CEO aaid, quoted by Capital Weekly. Bulgarian Telecom together with the state company RES owns the rest of 51 per cent of Mobikom. Now the negotiations will continue between Cable & Wireless and InQuam, a company which expressed interest to purchase 49 % of Mobikom.
