Turkish Businessman Scissor-Stabbed near Sofia

A Turkish businessman was found dead, with a scissor stabbed into his throat, in the town of Dolna Banya, near Sofia.

Police has confirmed the identity of the killed man - Iavuz Kaponoglu, a businessman from Turkey.

According to initial media reports Kaponoglu had recently bought the golf course in Dolna Banya. But Kiril Nedev, CEO of the golf course's management, told Sofia News Agency his company had no links with Kaponoglu, nor did the Turk own the local golf course.

The body of the man was found on Thursday rolled up in plaster at an apartment in the Galateya holiday home in Dolna Banya .

Police is still unable to confirm the time of murder, Bulgarian media reported.
