South Korean President Kim Dae-jung has ordered a sweeping cabinet reshuffle amid an ongoing political scandal in which senior government officials and a close relative to the president has been implicated. The new line-up involves 15 ministers and presidential secretaries. The reshuffle was wider than expected. Contrary to earlier predictions, Prime Minister Lee Han-dong was retained.
