The Balkan Political Club has gathered in the heart of Bosnia to discuss its European Union aspirations.

With the active participation of former Bulgarian President Zhelyu Zhelev, the two-day conference focuses on the process Bosnia has been going through since the 1995 US-brokered peace agreement.

The role of the international community in this transition of the country to the current days occupies a central place in the talks attended also by Suleyman Demirel, former president of Turkey, Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mladen Ivanic, and the US Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Douglas McElhaney.
