Car Hits Child in Bulgarian Schoolyard

An eleven-year-old was hit by a car in a schoolyard in Sofia's Lyulin district, media reported. Reports say that the kid had suffered a broken leg and was taken to the hospital. The driver fled the scene in his Volkswagen Golf 2, but was apprehended by the police. The incident took place in the capital's 27th high school, as the man tried to park his vehicle in the school yard and hit the child.
