Entering UK is Hard For Bulgarians
Letters to the Editor | April 30, 2006, Sunday // 00:00
I am Bulgarian businessman, currently based in Africa. I think Bulgarian nationals are facing same problems if they need to visit UK or Ireland. For example I have to pass Entry Clearance every time I travel to the UK, fill eight pages application form, pay GBP 70 fee, and submit 6 months bank statements. At the same time, I do not need all this to visit Germany, France, Spain or some other EU countries.
So, I think current visa regime between UK/Ireland and Bulgaria is not good at all for both of us.
Kind regards,
Boris Stefanov
