A Bulgarian Black Sea beach was horrified last night by the finding of two killed dolphins, whose bodies were cut to pieces.

Media said that people reported about the gruesome sight on Monday evening.

The slain dolphins were found on the beach of Kranevo, north on Bulgaria's seaside.

Local authorities could not immediately name suspects for the killing of the human-friendly mammals.

Dolphins are on Bulgaria's list of protected species, and people who hurt them face rather severe fines.
