One-lev coin will replace the paper notes by July, Svetoslav Gavriiski, Bulgarian National Bank director announced. One- lev banknotes will be gradually distributed for circulation. Half a year will be most probably necessary for the replacement. According to Gavriiski, a 100-lev note will not be issued this in 2002, because the market doesn't need it.
