Bulgaria-born violin virtuoso Vasko Vassilev was among the special guests at the Shanghai's show of rock legends Rolling Stones, which was a part of the band's tour "A Bigger Bang".
Besides a big fan of the band for more than 10 years the Bulgarian violin virtuoso is a close friend of their bass guitarist Ron Wood, whose other passion is art. Wood invited Vasko Vassilev to attend the opening of an exhibition of his paintings, which is taking part along with the band's tour.
Vassilev presented Ron Wood with a musical performance in the exhibition hall and in return Wood gave him two of his works- a painting of the group and a portrait of actor Jack Nicholson.
On April 16 the soloists of Covent Garden will come to Bulgaria and Vasko Vassilev will join them in front of the Bulgarian audience.
